Safari ARMAX Snorkel for Toyota HiLux 225 Series MY26 – SS223HP
The Safari SS223HP ARMAX Snorkel is specifically engineered for the MY26 Toyota HiLux 225 Series from September 2025 onwards, including both the standard 2.8L turbo-diesel and 48V mild-hybrid models powered by the 1GD-FTV engine.
Designed for touring, towing, off-road driving and performance upgrades, the SS223HP delivers an impressive 60% increase in airflow compared with the original air intake assembly. Raising the engine’s air intake also helps protect it from harmful water, dust and debris encountered during water crossings and travel in harsh Australian conditions.
The snorkel features Safari’s Next-Generation 4-inch ARMAX Air Ram with an optimised, low-restriction grille. The Air Ram has been developed using Computational Fluid Dynamics, Finite Element Analysis and Noise, Vibration and Harshness testing to maximise airflow, verify structural strength and minimise unwanted in-cabin noise.
Manufactured in Australia from premium UV-stabilised polyethylene, the SS223HP is designed to withstand extreme heat, prolonged UV exposure and demanding off-road environments. Its precision CAD-engineered design integrates neatly with the body styling of the MY26 HiLux for an OEM-quality appearance.

Installation Information
Installation requires cutting and drilling of the right-hand guard, modification of the original air-cleaner inlet and careful sealing of the air-intake system. Safari advises sealing the air-cleaner drain valve and drain hole where a watertight installation is required. Professional installation by an experienced snorkel fitter is strongly recommended.
